Jeff Spitzner, Advisory Board
Jeff Spitzner is a tech entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience as a founder and executive of seven scientific/bioinformatics/healthcare software and bio-technology companies that collectively contributed over $25 Million to the Central Ohio economy. Dr. Spitzner won the 2011 TechColumbus Innovation Award for Executive of the Year for his successes as Chief Executive of Rescentris. His experiences include fundraising, product visionary, strategic marketing, technology commercialization and product development, partnering, sales management, business development, and executive leadership. He received his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University, then conducted postdoctoral studies on DNA-protein interactions, bioinformatics, and molecular cancer research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Jeff is currently President of Amperand. Spitzner is a strong advocate for the arts, including innovation and technology arts.
